  A 17-year-old girl in the UK was rushed to the hospital after a hole burst in her lung after she vaped the equivalent of 400 cigarettes a week. According to  Metro , the incident happened on May 11 when the teen named Kyla Blythe collapsed and turned 'blue' during a sleepover at a friend's house. Her lung collapsed because excessive vaping had burst a small air blister known as a pulmonary bleb on her lungs. Ms Blythe then underwent a five-and-a-half-hour surgery to remove part of her lung. Her father Mark Blythe said, ''It was terrifying for me. I've cried like a baby. It was horrible to watch. I've been with her the whole time. It was life-threatening. It did threaten her life because she was so close to having a cardiac arrest on that Friday. They said she went blue. They thought she'd gone.''   Increased subsidy demands from independent power producers (IPPs) and fertiliser suppliers since fiscal year 2021-22 have resulted in domestic arrears of about 1% of GDP Bangladesh needs to clear its electricity and fertiliser subsidy arrears within the next five years, according to a condition set by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as part of its $4.7 billion loan programme. The international lender stated the condition in its "Staff Report" released on Tuesday (25 June) after approving the third tranche of the loan package. In the report, the IMF said the government has committed to avoiding any further accumulation of net arrears and plans to gradually clear these arrears through transparent transfers from the budget over the next five years.   Health Minister Samanta Lal Sen informed parliament today that efforts to create a shared health record and provide a "unique health ID"  for every citizen  are underway. "The work of providing unique health IDs has started in certain hospitals on an experimental basis. So far, 1,403,889 IDs have been issued under the pilot programme," he said in response to a query from Awami League MP Mahmud Hasan Ripon. The minister mentioned that 67 hospitals have been included in the automation initiative as part of the HIS and e-Health operation plan led by the MIS branch of the Department of Health. Addressing dengue management, Sen said the MIS branch has developed an online platform for dengue reporting, ensuring immediate availability of test results and preventing duplicate reports.   দেশজুড়ে রাসেলস ভাইপার নিয়ে যখন আতঙ্কে দিন কাটছে মানুষের তখন চলন্ত ট্রেনের ছাদে দেখা মিলল একটি সাপের। বগুড়ার সান্তাহার রেলস্টেশন থেকে পঞ্চগড়গামী একটি ট্রেনে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। এতে যাত্রীদের মাঝে আতঙ্ক সৃষ্টি হয়। বুধবার (২৬ জুন) সান্তাহার রেলস্টেশন থেকে পঞ্চগড়ের উদ্দেশ্যে ছেড়ে যায় আন্তঃনগর দোলনচাঁপা এক্সপ্রেস। ওই ট্রেনের ছাদে যাত্রীরা একটি সাপ দেখতে পান। যদিও ট্রেনটি পঞ্চগড়ের বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা সিরাজুল ইসলাম রেলস্টেশনে পৌঁছালে সাপটির উপস্থিতি পাওয়া যায়নি। জানা গেছে, বুধবার বেলা ১১টায় ট্রেনের ছাদে সাপ দেখার পর যাত্রীরা দায়িত্বরতদের অবগত করেন। ট্রেনটি রাত ১১টার সময় পঞ্চগড় বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা সিরাজুল ইসলাম রেলস্টেশনে পৌঁছায়। রাতেই ট্রেনের স্টাফসহ স্টেশন সংশ্লিষ্টরা খোঁজাখুঁজি করলে সাপটির উপস্থিতি পাননি। এ বিষয়ে স্টেশন মাস্টার নিরঞ্জন রায় গণমাধ্যমকে বলেন, যাত্রীরা চলন্ত ট্রেনের ছাদে সাপটিকে দেখেতে পেয়ে ভিডিও করে আমাদের পাঠিয়েছে। প্রাথমিকভাবে দেখে মনে হচ্ছে এটি গোখরা সাপ। এর মাঝে ট্রেনটি স্টেশনে পৌঁছালে আমরা তল্লাশি চালাই। তবে সাপটি পাওয়া যায়নি। THE BUSINESS WORLD
