MUMBAI: A doctor found a portion of a human finger in an ice cream that he had ordered online in Mumbai.

After preserving the finger in ice, the doctor contacted the Malad police who have sent it for forensic analysis and started a probe.

The portion of the human finger is 1.5cm approximately, police said.

"We have registered an FIR under sections 272, 273 and 336 of IPC on Thursday against the persons responsible," said DCP Anand Bhoite, zone 11.
